Penghu Cultural Park managed by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Penghu County, is the largest cultural and recreational site in the county.
In recent years, the Bureau has developed a comprehensive cultural park centered around the public square and gallery space outside the Performing Arts Hall(演藝廳), integrating nearby facilities such as the Erda Art Hall and the Penghu Science Museum.
Following extensive renovation and revitalization, the park has been transformed into an inviting leisure destination for local residents, offering a great place to relax on weekends or after work. The park also features a range of public service facilities, including administrative offices, exhibition areas, outdoor performance spaces, a display hall, the Science Museum, and the Performing Arts Hall—bringing culture closer to the community.
Penghu Cultural Park is an ideal location for romantic outings, family activities, or exercise and dancing for the elderly. The park includes diverse cultural zones such as the Art Corridor, Zhongxing Gallery, outdoor performance areas, a children’s playground, Cultural Plaza, water dance zone, and Sculpture Park.
The park regularly hosts outdoor performances and cultural events and is equipped with tree-lined walking paths and nighttime lighting for a comfortable and safe visitor experience.
