Xujia Village and Color Murals

Attractions

Xujia Village is a traditional settlement in Penghu, known for its one main house with four wings architectural layout. The village is named after the Hsu family (Xu is pronounced the same as Hsu,) as most of its residents share this surname. Within the village, many quiet traditional three-section courtyard homes remain, including several "Xujia Old Residences," which still preserve the traditional appearance of early architecture.
As visitors walk through the alleys of Xujia Village, they will see murals of various styles and themes painted on the walls. These colorful murals form a beautiful contrast with the quiet charm of the traditional settlement.
