Located to the east of Chima Village in Xiyu Township, Penghu, on the high ground to the west of Donggang and overlooking Qimawan, the Wukongding Defense Base is situated on a hillside beside Chima Fish Harbor. The purpose of the Nei'an Framework House was to secure the area and provide support for both the Xiyu West Fort and Xiyu East Fort. The base is named Wukongding Defense Base due to the five openings in the stone walls of the fortification, which allowed for a clear view of the harbor to monitor enemy activity. The base is approximately 3,000 meters in circumference. The cannon base follows the terrain, forming a curved shape of about 50 meters. It faces northwest and has five angular cannon openings, which allow for distant views of the inner harbor and outer sea, monitoring enemy activity. There are trenches at the entrance and exit, constructed like stairs to facilitate access. A wooden trail is built at the foot of the mountain, allowing visitors to climb to the top, where a pavilion offers a panoramic view of Penghu Bay.
