Located on Pingqiyu in Jiangmei Village, Baisha Township, Penghu, there stands a solitary outpost. During low tide, a walkway emerges, linking the islet to Jiangmei Fishing Harbor. However, when the tide rises, the path is submerged and disappears beneath the sea, making the outpost appear like a lonely island adrift in the ocean.
The landscape changes dramatically with the ebb and flow of the tides. Visitors are reminded to check the tide schedule and stay alert, as sudden high tides may cause them to become stranded.
