Chima Beach

Attractions
On the western side of Chima Village, along North Circuit County Highway 203, lies a tranquil beach. To reach it, enter the alley across from Chima Fantao Temple and walk straight to the end, where you'll be greeted by the vast ocean and a wide stretch of sandy shore. The sand is soft here and a broad beach is revealed as the tide ebbs.
Chima Beach boasts incredibly fine sand, making it perfect for water activities. As the sun sets, the golden-hued beach becomes an ideal spot for admiring the sunset. Bathed in sunlight, the sand glows with a radiant golden sheen—Chima Beach's most enchanting feature. Lying on the shore, gazing at the distant sunset, and watching children play carefree in the sand, all worldly worries simply fade away in this serene moment. Here, the fiery evening sky, golden sands and shimmering ocean blend into a stunning landscape. Several film productions have even chosen this spot for their scenic backdrops. A small pavilion by the harbor's breakwater offers shade, allowing visitors to enjoy the seaside view while escaping the harsh sun. There used to be a Chima West Boardwalk(赤馬西步道木棧道) that extended all the way to Nai'an, but due to weathering and coastal erosion, the wooden path has since been damaged and is no longer accessible.
Recommended Duration of Visit: 30 minutes (Be mindful of tide schedules.)
