On the west side of Xiaochi Reservoir, there is a beautiful beach known locally as Dream Beach or Wang'an Beach. This small beach is about 200 meters long and features fine, golden sand. It's relatively remote, and the beach is only visible during low tide.
At high tide, the entire beach is submerged and disappears from view, which is why it's called Dream Beach.The beach can be accessed by walking down from the embankment of Xiaochi Reservoir. After crossing a rocky area, visitors can enjoy the beautiful beach scenery. If you want to avoid crowds, this is definitely a great spot to visit! Descending from the back of the reservoir, you'll find yourself stepping onto ultra-fine sand. On both sides of the beach, there are stone weirs and nearby, a small area of magnificent columnar basalt formations can be seen. 
At dusk, the famous Xiyu sunset is right in front of you, offering a breathtaking view of the golden glow reflecting on the sea and sand. The scenery is stunning and the beach is also known as the Golden Sand Beach.
●Pay attention to the tide times.

●The area has strong currents, so swimming is not advised as it can be dangerous.
