Penghu Reclamation Hall

Online reservations are dynamically set by the operating unit. For last-minute bookings, call during business hours (Monday, and Thursday to Sunday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM) at 06-9261141.

Reservation Instructions

Penghu Reclamation Hall is located in Magong City, adjacent to the county government offices, the historic Magong City, and the commercial center. The goal is to make it a resource center for local education in Penghu, presenting the history of Penghu's development and offering a quiet and elegant cultural space. It serves as an ideal spot for tourists to experience the culture of Penghu's development and a perfect place for seeking tranquility and relaxation.

Ticket Prices and Eligibility:
(1) Regular Ticket - NTD30: For the general public.
(2) Half Ticket - NTD15: For children aged 7-12 and students with a valid student ID from a school registered with the Ministry of Education.
(3) Group Ticket - NTD20: For groups of ten or more.
(4) Free Admission for:
- People with disabilities and one accompanying person.
- Seniors aged 65 or above (both local and foreign nationals) and veterans with a Veteran ID.
- Children aged 6 or under.
- Holders of a Tour Guide or Tour Leader ID issued by the Tourism Bureau.
- Journalists with a press ID.
- Individuals entering for official business or public duties.
- School groups from Penghu County on field trips. Applications for group visits must be submitted via an official letter one week prior to the visit, specifying the date and time of the visit, planned duration, number of visitors, and contact person's name and phone number.

Ticket Usage Information:
(1) Those purchasing half-price tickets must present relevant identification or proof.
(2) Persons with disabilities, seniors, tour guides, leaders, etc., eligible for free tickets must present relevant proof.
(3) Tickets are for individual use and cannot be reused.
(4) Tickets are valid on the day of purchase only. Ticket holders may enter the museum multiple times on the same day.
(5) Visitors must have their tickets checked by staff before entering the museum.

Important Notes

Visit Overview - Visitor Guidelines:
(1) To maintain the quality of the visit, a maximum of 40 visitors is allowed inside at any one time. If overcrowded, please wait in the garden area.
(2) Please turn off mobile phones or set them to silent mode to avoid disturbing other visitors.
(3) Prohibited in the Museum: Smoking and eating are not allowed.
(4) Use of flash is prohibited, and direct photography of the exhibits is not allowed.

Group Reservation
(1) Available for group tours, specifically for groups and schools.
(2) General public, schools, government agencies, and groups.
(3) To maintain the quality of the visit, tours are limited to 20 people per session. If exceeding 20, the applying organization must arrange the group into smaller subgroups, with a maximum of 40 people at the same time.
(4) Groups must book in advance via phone, letter, or fax.
(5) Reservations should be made at least a week in advance and confirmed by phone. In case of multiple bookings for the same time slot, priority is given to the earliest reservation. Others are asked to reschedule.
(6) If unable to visit as scheduled, please notify the museum in advance. Failure to notify may result in future reservation requests being declined.
(7) Groups applying for a guided tour need to provide detailed information, including the organization's name, total number of participants, demographic and age range of the group members, planned visit date, estimated time of arrival and duration of visit, contact phone number, address, and the name and mobile number of a designated contact person.
(8) Please use the museum’s online reservation service.
(9) If you do not receive confirmation from the museum within 3 days of making a reservation, please proactively contact the museum to ensure your reservation is secured.
(10) To cancel or reschedule for an earlier visit, please notify the operating unit at least 3 days in advance. To reschedule for a later visit, please inform the operating unit no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled visit time. Delays may affect the reserved service time. Those who fail to visit without reason cannot make another reservation for 3 months.
