Reservation Instructions

Our purpose is to protect Penghu‘s local cultural heritages, promote local living wisdom, agglomerate local people’s cultural consensus, expand local people’s cultural vision, and establish local people’s cultural confidence. Also, we pursue the quality of museum profession and public service, seeking to bring our cultural and social-educational function into full play.
Vision of the Museum: Protect the isles, embrace the ocean, and discover the true Penghu.

Additional Information

1. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once sold.
2. Opening and Closing Hours:
(1) Opening Hours: Thursday to Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
(2) Closing Hours: Every Wednesday, Lunar New Year's Eve, other closures as announced by the museum, and government-declared natural disaster days.
3. Museum Admission Information:
(1) Ticket Sales Time: Tickets are sold from the opening time of the museum until 30 minutes before closing.
(2) Visitors purchasing discounted tickets, entitled to free admission, or holding a museum pass must present relevant identification. Without proof, regular ticket prices will apply.
(3) Tickets are valid only on the day of purchase. Tickets are invalid if punched or clipped. Visitors leaving the museum who wish to re-enter on the same day must get a hand stamp; re-entry is unlimited with a hand stamp.
(4) After purchasing a ticket, visitors must have their tickets checked by staff at the entrance before entering.
(5) Please maintain quiet inside the museum. Eating, smoking, spitting, chewing betel nuts, loud talking, littering, and bringing pets are prohibited inside the exhibition halls.
(6) Visitors must wear neat and appropriate clothing. Bare chests or tank tops are not permitted.
(7) If photography or filming is required for work purposes, please fill out an application form for in-museum photography, filming, or interviewing. Upon approval, a photography permit will be issued.
(8) Please turn off mobile phones or set them to silent mode during your visit to avoid disturbing other visitors.
4.Remarks:
(1) If you do not receive confirmation from the museum within 3 days of making a reservation, please proactively contact the museum to ensure your reservation is secured.
(2) To cancel or reschedule for an earlier visit, please notify the operating unit at least 3 days in advance. To reschedule for a later visit, please inform the operating unit no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled visit time. Delays may affect the reserved service time. Those who fail to visit without reason cannot make another reservation for 3 months.

Penghu Museum of Life Transportation Guide

(1) By Bus: From Penghu Magong Airport, take the Wukan to Magong bus and get off at the Museum of Life stop. Alternatively, take the Longmen to Magong, Taiwu to Magong, or Jianshan to Magong bus, get off at the Cultural Bureau stop, and then walk for about 5 minutes to reach the museum.
(2) By Car or Motorcycle Rental: Rent a car or motorcycle at Penghu Magong Airport. Drive on County Highway 202 and take Zhonghua Road. Enter near Cultural Bureau No. 230.
