To promote winter tourism, the Penghu County Government will launch the "2025 Winter Penghu Consumption Voucher" program from November 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026, featuring a variety of special activities. In particular, in collaboration with Chenggong Community, a two-day, four-session event called "Chenggong Wild Exploration Season" will be held on November 15 (Saturday) and 16 (Sunday), allowing visitors to experience the unique local culture of Penghu.

The activities include traditional fishing and planting experiences, plant-dyeing workshops, DIY herbal products such as Artemisia annua hydrosol and aloe hand soap, community cultural tours, and pizza-making. The events are presented in a "wild dining table" style to create a low-carbon, healthy, and sustainable cultural feast. The venue is Chenggong Community Activity Center and "Pigsty Café," with each session limited to 40 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is open to non-Penghu residents, offering visitors a hands-on experience to deeply appreciate the local community's culture and sustainable lifestyle. The participation fee is NT$250 per person.

Registration for "Chenggong Wild Exploration Season" opens at 12:00 noon on October 1. The first five registrants of each session will receive a complimentary bottle of "Brown Sugar Sesame Ginger." Related information and registration details will be announced on Chenggong Community's Facebook page "Chenggong Horseshoe Crab Black P."

The County Government’s Tourism Department stated that in addition to the consumption voucher discounts this winter, a series of activities will be offered, including the Great March Challenge, cultural walking tours of Magong City, musical events at Duxing Cultural Center, and food tours in Nanliao and Chenggong Community, allowing visitors to deeply explore Penghu’s cultural landscape. Furthermore, ten major cultural venues will be fully open for free, and the "Penghu Good Travel" bus services—covering the North Loop, Huxi, and Southern Penghu routes—will be free of charge, making it easier for travelers to explore Penghu. Event details can be found on the "Penghu Travel" website.

The County Government hopes that, through collaboration with local communities and industries, these diverse activities will showcase a fresh winter image of Penghu and attract more visitors to experience the island's charm.
