Jibei Sand Tail is located on Jibeiyu in the northern part of Baisha Township. The island's most notable feature is its sandbar, which stretches 800 meters in length and 300 meters in width, making it an eye-catching attraction. The sandbar extends into the sea, with the azure waters, blue sky, and golden coastline creating a picturesque scene. The island also offers vacation cottages for accommodation, making it a popular spot for summer vacations, honeymoons, and water activities. Constant erosion from sea currents, waves, and tides has carried eroded rock fragments and gravel to suitable locations, gradually forming coastal landforms such as beaches, sandbars and tidal islands. This is how the unique and beautiful sandbar at Jibei was formed. The sandbar stretches outward, creating a beach that extends over a thousand meters, with a long, narrow shape and golden sand. For this reason, it is also called the "Golden Sandbar of Jibei." Not only does the sandbar border the azure coastline, but it is also surrounded by lush coastal plants, adding to the area's beauty.
The sea color transitions from light blue to deep blue in a gradient, complementing the golden sandy beach. This location was also featured in the idol drama At the Dolphin Bay and it is an excellent spot for water activities.
