Qimei - Xiaxiang
Attractions
Xiaxiang, located between the Nianli Bay Recreation Area(月鯉灣遊憩區) and the Da Shi Scenic Area, is a small bay surrounded by basalt cliffs. The coastal area has been shaped by ocean erosion, forming two openings resembling alleys. The northern opening is called Dingxiang (Upper Alley) and the southern opening, which is wider, is called Xiaxiang (Lower Alley). It is a necessary route for the locals to reach the seaside. Follow the stone steps leading down to the seaside, which is part of a sea-eroded platform small bay. Around the bay, you can closely observe the sloping columnar jointed rock walls and the deep blue sea.
On both sides of Xiaxiang, there are sea cliffs that form shallow platforms, making it a popular spot for anglers. A viewing pavilion is available for resting, offering a panoramic view of Longcheng, the stone lion and the entire coastline of Xiaxiang.
