Shanshui 30 Plateau Park is located to the right of Shanshui Beach, near the basalt cliff highlands of the Wetland Park. This area is not just a park, but also offers a breathtaking view of the entire Golden Shell Beach(黃金貝殼沙灘). Previously a military site, it was taken over by the Penghu County Government, who actively renovated and developed it, adding features such as pedestrian trails, sunshade facilities, resting benches, interpretive installations, public restrooms and a small parking lot. After the existing barracks were renovated, visitors can walk along a wooden boardwalk to the summit to enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Shanshui coastline and stunning ocean scenery. 
The park features a steel-structured light installation, named "Shanshui Reflection(山水映輝)," inspired by the imagery of "mountain and water," along with a short poem written by County Magistrate Lai Fengwei. During the day, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree view, with the structure allowing people to walk freely underneath. From Shanshui Beach, one can observe the mountain-shaped design of the structure. At night, the park is illuminated with landscape lighting that changes colors to the rhythm of music, creating an interactive feel between the "mountain" and "water." This lighting displays the local topographical imagery and conveys the spirit of Penghu, establishing a new nighttime landmark. The night atmosphere provides a different experience from the daytime.
