"Echoes: The Songs of the 70s and 80s – Taiwan Pop Music Festival in Penghu" features three major events. One of them is the Taiwan Pop Music Salon – Talk & Sing Sessions, held from May 30 to June 1, 2025, during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, daily from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at Yuanju Bookstore.The sessions will be hosted by veteran media personality Chen Wei-Min, with guest appearances by the Nan Fang Duo and singer-songwriter Yeh Chia-Hsiu, who will share stories and songs from the golden era of Taiwanese pop music in the 70s and 80s.
Daily themes are: Southern Music Tales & the Dream of Qiong Yao Movies, The Love Songs of Liu Chia-Chang & the Music of Chang Yu-Sheng, Penghu’s Musical Sentiment – Remembering Pan An-Bang.Each session is limited to 30 participants and registration is required.
