Through a series of themed, low-carbon, and locally eco-focused travel itineraries, visitors are guided to explore Wang’an in a slower and more in-depth way. The program also highlights Taiwan’s only protected nesting habitat for green sea turtles, leading participants to discover this “Home of Green Sea Turtles” from multiple perspectives—land, shoreline, ocean, and inner reflection. It aims to inspire awareness of ecological conservation and environmental protection, leaving visitors with meaningful and unforgettable memories.

1. Run with Sea Turtles Around Wang’an (Fun Run Experience)
Held on May 22–23 (Friday and Saturday), the core activity is an 11 km island-loop fun run. The route connects notable attractions such as the Yuanyangkeng military ruins, the Shui’an Liwang Temple faith center, the scenic Tiantai Mountain, and Wang’an Kou Beach. Participants will also join Mr. Chen Jiulin to learn about sea turtle conservation and habitats, explore the 300-year-old Huazhai settlement, and experience hands-on DIY traditional brown sugar cake making—continuing the in-depth travel concept of the program.

2. Rebuilding the Sea Turtle’s Underwater Home (Coral Restoration & SUP Experience)
In conjunction with summer water activities, five sessions will be held from May to July (May 9–10, June 13–14, June 27–28, July 11–12, and July 25–26; Saturdays and Sundays). Guided by professional instructors, participants will engage in coral restoration and stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), enjoying the coastline of Wang’an from the sea. Nighttime activities include intertidal ecological observation based on tidal conditions. This program allows visitors not only to experience the ocean but also to actively participate in marine conservation, creating a meaningful and immersive aquatic journey.
