Additionally, there is a gym and a conference room, making it a multi-functional activity center. The exhibition hall is located on the second floor, with the purpose of showcasing how the residents of Qimei Island have effectively used local materials to meet the demands of daily life in a harsh natural environment. The exhibits cover various aspects, including cooking utensils, dishes, food, clothing, architecture, settlements and living spaces, local history, folklore temple festivals and Qimei medicinal plants.
The goal of the museum is not only to make culture a cornerstone of tourism and invigorate the local economy but also to preserve and promote traditional culture, serve as an environmental education hub, enhance cultural awareness among residents, enrich Qimei's tourism resources, develop the local cultural industry, and create a cultural center for community life and interaction. The museum features spaces such as an exhibition room, a digital experience area, and a DIY creation area. After opening, it displays a series of fine stone artifacts, Japanese-era decorative tiles and traditional toys, reflecting the unique characteristics of ancient Taiwanese island artifacts. In addition, the museum is equipped with computer facilities, allowing visitors to search for domestic and international information and activities. In the future, it will develop to integrate Qimei's cultural features with its tourism center role.
