Collaborating with art exhibition venues under the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Penghu County Government to conduct joint marketing campaigns

The Hung Ken-shen Art Museum is coordinating art venues across Penghu County to launch the “Penghu Art Museum Month” from March 8 to April 27, featuring a Bingo-style stamp collection event. From the Cultural Affairs Bureau’s exhibition spaces to township and city office galleries, a rich program of art curation, cultural walking tours, local creative showcases, and hands-on workshops will unfold.
This year’s theme is “Water”, reflecting Penghu’s ocean-surrounded geography and the close ties between local life and the sea. From traditional knowledge such as dyeing fishing nets with Bixa orellana (shǔláng) to strengthen them against seawater erosion, to artists’ depictions of ever-changing seascapes throughout the seasons, and even marine imagery in temple murals—this event invites the public to immerse themselves in an artistic journey through the world of water.
