The Xiying Rainbow Bridge, located within Guanyinting Coastal Recreation Area in Magong City, Penghu County, was constructed by the Penghu County Government at a cost of tens of millions of NTD. Completed in 2004, it is Penghu's first steel-arch bridge. It is 200 meters in length, 4.6 meters in width and approximately 15 meters in height (bridge bottom to sea level.) The bridge is equipped with a seven-color neon lighting system featuring red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, which replicates the spectral colors of a rainbow. The name "Xiying" comes from the traditional designation "Xiyingshengjing" (西瀛勝境, or Xiying Scenic Wonder), a well-known moniker for Guanyinting.
  
The Xiying Rainbow Bridge, seamlessly blending with the picturesque surroundings of Guanyinting, creates a romantic and serene atmosphere. As night falls, the vibrant neon lights adorning the arch illuminate the landscape, making the bridge even more dazzling.
The bridge is a beloved spot for both locals and visitors, who come here to exercise, take leisurely strolls and admire the stunning views. In recent years, it has also become a key launch site for the Penghu Fireworks Festival each summer. The dazzling fireworks, combined with the colorful neon glow of the bridge, transform the night sky into a breathtaking spectacle—a true highlight of Penghu's tourism landscape.
